About GridLiance West


A subsidiary of  NextEra Energy Transmission, LLC, GridLiance West is a transmission-only utility company. GridLiance West works in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) region, investing in transmission improvements that have strengthened the reliability of the regional grid and reduced transmission congestion.

GridLiance West owns and operates 167 miles of transmission lines and related substation infrastructure in Nevada, enabling access to low-cost energy resources.
