Transmission Service Overview
GridLiance West owns facilities in Nevada under the functional control of the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). Customers use the CAISO Open Access Same-time Information System (OASIS) to request transmission service and to designate and terminate network resources. The CAISO OASIS also contains real-time data related to the CAISO transmission system and its market, such as system demand forecasts, transmission outage and capacity status, market prices and market result data.
